Peacock Necklace (for sale)

We found this today in our hourly "Peacock" news dig and thought it interesting enough to buy, so we did!

I believe they have some more, so don't start a bidding war - we quote or read the posting

quote/

Description RELIC n. an antiquity that has survived
from the distant past, something of sentimental value.

Inspired by Victorian mourning jewelry and their fascination with the "object" I have created a modern version. Each RELIC consists of an approximately 1" handblown glass globe on a 24" gold fill chain with a spring ring clasp.
The Peacock feather is the essence of art nouveau and especially timely now with the resurgence of popularity of Paul Poiret, the brilliant designer who outfitted Josephine Baker among many others.
I offer custom RELIC pieces should you want to memorialize someone or someplace... Please contact me for more information.

*Due to the unique qualities of both glass and feathers, the necklace you receive may vary slightly from this photo. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you!*
